Pedro Acosta won Saturday’s ten-lap Sepang Sprint in 20:04.098. Marc Márquez finished second, 0.578s behind, with Marco Bezzecchi third (+1.310s). Polesitter Álex Márquez did not finish.

Álex Márquez claimed pole for Sunday’s Grand Prix with 1:56.493. Marc Márquez (1:56.563) and Pedro Acosta (1:56.577) complete the front row. The animation on the right shows the TOP 10 from Saturday FP2, led by Enea Bastianini on 1:58.516. These are practice best laps, not a Sprint replay.

Moto2 starts on Sunday at 06:15 CET, followed by MotoGP at 08:00 CET. Malaysia is seven hours ahead. The MotoGP qualifying front row is Álex Márquez, Marc Márquez and Pedro Acosta. Grid or schedule amendments may still follow.

Acosta took Saturday’s Sprint. Álex will want to make pole count, while Marc hunts more points. This sequel deserves an alarm.
