Marc Márquez won Sunday’s Malaysian Grand Prix after 20 laps in 40:14.236. Pedro Acosta finished second (+4.172s), with Álex Márquez third (+5.955s). Ai Ogura took fourth and Enea Bastianini completed the top five.
The Sepang map shows the race classification, rider portraits and times. Practice reports and Saturday’s Sprint are now in the archive.
Acosta had the fastest lap. Márquez had the winning race. The stopwatch had more than one story to tell.
Pedro Acosta set the fastest race lap on lap two: 1:59.261. Yet he reached the finish 4.172 seconds behind Marc Márquez. In tropical Sepang, staying fast for all 20 laps matters just as much.
